The first Gyro, the Gyro X, was introduced in October 1982, with front and rear tie-down racks, small low-pressure tires combined with a limited-slip differential, and a one-push parking brake. Honda's suggested retail price was low, as it was intended as an inexpensive vehicle. By May 2002, 135,226 Gyro X had been sold. The Stream, introduced in November 1981, was the first of Honda's tilting three-wheelers.
