After the 150 ended, the Elite name continued on smaller scooters. Honda introduced the Elite 80 (CH80) in 1985, moved its production from Japan to Mexico in 1991, and ended it in 2007 after 23 model years with only minor changes. In 1988 Honda launched the 49 cc SB50 Elite ES as the successor to the popular Spree and the larger Elite SR/LX (SA50), and the 49 cc Elite E of the late 1980s shared its fixed-ratio transmission with the Spree rather than the CVT of the standard Elite and Dio. Each model year has its own page.
