Honda produced the CBR600F2 from 1991 to 1994 to replace the original Hurricane. It was thought of as one of Honda's most modern and innovative sport bikes of its day, and in the 1990s few motorcycles could match the performance of the F2. Hurricane LPL Ishikawa led its development, which began in early 1989, and the bike was known internally as MV9. This page belongs to the Honda CBR600F (second generation, CBR600F2), 1991 to 1994 model years; the generation page and the Honda CBR600F model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
