Honda announced the CBR300R with a longer stroke in October 2013 at the Chongqing exhibition, the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, raising displacement from 249.6 to 286 cc to answer Kawasaki's Ninja 300. Honda said the new model had more horsepower, 30.5 bhp against 26, and more torque, 20 lb-ft against 17, with an optional ABS upgrade. In 2015 a naked variant, the CB300F, a slightly lighter model with a more upright sitting position, was launched. Each model year has its own page.
