2017 Honda CBR1000RR

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda updated its flagship CBR (SC77) for 2017, the 25th anniversary of the Fireblade, with new bodywork and, for the first time, throttle by wire and traction control working with selectable ride modes. The retuned engine produced a claimed 189 hp, or 153.2 hp at the rear wheel, with a titanium muffler and a 14 kg weight reduction. The SP model added semi-active Ohlins suspension, Brembo monobloc front brake calipers and a titanium fuel tank, and 500 units of an SP2 variant with Marchesini forged wheels were to be sold.
