Honda Motor Europe Ltd revived the CB750 name in 2023 as the CB750 Hornet, launched together with the CB1000 Hornet SP. The new model belongs to the updated line of Hornet naked sportbikes and does not succeed the earlier CB750 motorcycles; its frame and engine come directly from the new XL750 Transalp, an eight valve liquid cooled parallel twin of 755 cc making 90.5 hp at 9,500 rpm. It takes the place of the CB650R in the United States.
