The BMW HP2 Megamoto is a part-faired supermoto motorcycle built by BMW Motorrad. It was presented in October 2006 at Intermot in Cologne beside the G 650 Xmoto and is technically largely the HP2 Enduro, whose production it replaced in August 2006. Compared with the Enduro it sits lower, with shorter suspension travel, smaller 17 inch wheels on road tyres, two front disc brakes, a rev counter and a compression ratio raised from 11:1 to 12:1, which added 6 kW of rated power. Its air- and oil-cooled flat-twin boxer engine drives the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox and a shaft, and the bike accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches 215 km/h. BMW built it at the Berlin-Spandau plant until November 2008 and dropped it without a successor.
