The Honda CMX500 Rebel, also called the CMX500 or Rebel 500, is a cruiser motorcycle made by Honda, designed as a bobber-style cruiser within the Honda CM series. It was presented in November 2016 in Long Beach, California, and went into production in spring 2017, with a new LED lighting package, revised instrument cluster and slipper-assist clutch added for 2020. It uses the 471 cc 180-degree-crank straight-twin shared with Honda's other 21st century 500 twins and shares frame components with the CL500. Astra Honda Motor president Toshiyuki Inuma called its development simple and raw, and chief designer Keita Mikura described a timeless look blended with contemporary elements, with an emphasis on minimalism so owners can customise it.
