Honda CD175

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The Honda CD175 is a 174 cc motorcycle that the Honda Motor Company made from 1967 to 1979. Honda described it as a great new all-rounder, at home around town or putting the highway behind you, and it was the touring model in Honda's 175 cc lineup, which also included the sportier CB175 and the CL175 scrambler. It shared components and design with other Honda models, such as the early pressed steel backbone frame sometimes called the T bone. It had an electric starter, except in the United Kingdom, turn signals, deeply valanced mudguards and mirrors, and an inclined air-cooled engine that evolved from the earlier CB160, keeping most of its castings and some internal parts. The 1967 model was also known as the CA175 or CD175A and about 17,000 were built.
