The Robinson R44 is a four seat light utility and training helicopter built by the Robinson Helicopter Company, designed by Frank Robinson and first delivered in February 1993 as a larger, hydraulically assisted successor to the two seat Robinson R22. It has been the world's best selling general aviation helicopter every year since 1999, with nearly seven thousand built by 2023.
