The Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma is a four bladed, twin engine medium transport and utility helicopter originally designed and built by the French firm Sud Aviation, later absorbed into Aerospatiale. Developed during the 1960s for both military and civilian roles, it has been produced in numerous variants by manufacturers across Europe and flown by armed forces and civil operators around the world for troop transport, search and rescue and offshore support work.
