The Robin DR400 is a French light aircraft built by Avions Robin, introduced in 1972 and built with a distinctive cranked, or gulled, wing shape and a fuselage combining wood framing with fabric and composite covering rather than the all-metal construction typical of many American light aircraft of the period. Produced in numerous variants with different engines and roles, including dedicated glider-towing versions, it has been widely used across Europe for flight training, touring and aero club flying for decades since its introduction.
