Beechcraft King Air

The Beechcraft King Air is an American twin-engine turboprop aircraft built by Beechcraft, introduced in 1964 as one of the first purpose-built business turboprop aircraft, developed to offer corporate and utility operators speed and altitude capability closer to a jet while retaining the lower operating costs and shorter runway requirements of a turboprop. Built in a series of progressively larger and more capable variants over its production life, the King Air has been adopted not only for corporate transport but also for military training, medical evacuation, aerial survey and regional airline service around the world. It holds the distinction of one of the longest continuous production runs of any aircraft in aviation history, still in active production more than half a century after its introduction.
