The Cessna 411 is an American twin-engined, propeller-driven, non-pressurized light aircraft, and it was the largest business aircraft Cessna had put into production when it first flew in 1962. It is an eight-seat low-wing cabin-class monoplane with retractable landing gear and an airstair entrance door, powered by two 340 horsepower Continental GTSIO-520-C engines driving three-bladed propellers. The type certificate was awarded in 1964, with 252 of the original 411 built, followed by 50 of the 411A with more nose baggage space. During 1965 Cessna developed the lower-cost Models 401 and 402, production of the 411 finished in 1968, and a pressurized version was developed as the Cessna 421. French forces took six 411s as communications aircraft between 1966 and 1969.
