Mooney M20

General Aviation and Light Aircraft

The Mooney M20 is a family of single engine light aircraft that Mooney introduced in 1955, distinguished by a forward swept vertical tail fin and a retractable landing gear that, combined with its relatively small, efficient wing, made it noticeably faster than many contemporaries of similar engine power. Successive M20 variants remained in production for decades, earning the type a lasting reputation among private pilots as one of the fastest normally aspirated piston singles available.
