Aviators and Military Pilots

Pilots who set records or flew in war, including fighter pilots, air force officers and long-distance flyers. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the person an aviator or pilot, including a military pilot or officer. It excludes early aeroplane builders and women pilots. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
