Track Gauge Concepts

The width between rails, which decides whether trains can run from one line to the next. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the concept a railway track gauge. It excludes rail closures and combined transport. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members. It is one of the groups under the Rail Concepts subcategory of the Transport atlas, which has its own browse page listing every group and member.
