The Renault OS was a series of small buses from Renault that was built in various versions around 1931. It had a 2,120 cc four-cylinder petrol engine with a 75 mm bore and 120 mm stroke and 35 PS (25.7 kW). The permitted payload was 1,800 kg, enough for 10 to 12 passengers plus about 300 kg of mail parcels, and the body was squarer as a postal bus so that body builders could fit it out without forming tools. The passenger space was 2,550 mm long and up to 1,500 mm wide, standing height was only 1,500 mm, the wheelbase was 3,545 mm and the overall length 5,340 mm, and a 1,000 mm rear door was hinged on the left. The OS was also sold as a delivery van with the same 1,800 kg payload, and its letters carry no meaning, since Renault named new developments alphabetically.
