Optare Solo

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Optare Solo is a single deck low floor midibus built by the British manufacturer Optare from 1997, designed as a compact, easily boarded vehicle for routes where a full size single or double decker bus is unnecessary or impractical. Its short length and low floor made it well suited to narrow town centre streets, rural villages and lightly used suburban routes, and it became one of the most widely used minibuses in the United Kingdom bus market in the years after its introduction.
