Mercedes-Benz O309

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Mercedes-Benz O309, also called the Angkor Minibus, was the bus variant of the Düsseldorfer Transporter, a large-capacity van that became available in 1967. During its lifetime ten different engines with four or six cylinders and 55 to 130 horsepower were offered, and the article lists diesel and petrol versions that ran from 1967 to 1986. The O309 was the successor of the O319 and the predecessor of the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz T2 and of the Vario. Its internal chassis designations were 309, 310 and 313.
