The Isuzu Novo is a mid-sized bus built since 2009 by the joint venture Anadolu Isuzu. Besides Turkey it is operated in several European countries and in Azerbaijan. The original Novo used a 5.2 litre four cylinder turbodiesel of 155 horsepower with a six speed manual gearbox; the Novo Lux and Novo Ultra use the same engine at 190 horsepower and carry 23 to 27 passengers, while the Novociti and Novociti Ultra city versions, offered since 2010, carry 55. The bus won the Bus of the Year award in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2012, was restyled and enlarged in 2013 to carry 27 to 29 passengers, and in 2016 the base model was renamed Novo S. An electric version, the Novo Volt with a 320 kilowatt Allison motor and room for 29 passengers, was shown at Busworld Europe in Brussels in 2023.
