Isuzu Erga Mio

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Isuzu Erga Mio is a medium-duty single-decker bus that Isuzu sells and that is produced through the J-Bus joint venture, the second medium duty bus under the Mio name after the Gala Mio intercity coach. It is built in Japan either as an integral bus or as a bus chassis. It began on 23 June 1999 as a full model change of the Journey K to comply with Japan's long-term exhaust emission regulations. The first models were 6.99, 8.14 and 8.99 metre buses with the 6HH1 engine, some with a 6HA1 compressed natural gas conversion, and later 8.99 metre models used the 6HK1 and then the 4HK1 engine, with updates through 2022. It is offered in One Step, Two Step and Non Step forms, and because the bus businesses of Isuzu and Hino were integrated it is now an integrated model with the Hino Rainbow.
