Dennis Dart

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Dennis Dart is a single deck bus chassis built by Dennis, later Alexander Dennis, from 1988, designed as a compact and affordable midibus for routes that did not need a full size vehicle. Its light weight and tight turning circle suited it to narrow streets and rural roads as well as busy urban routes, and it became one of the best selling bus chassis in Britain through the 1990s and 2000s, built in large numbers with bodywork from several different coachbuilders.
