Fiat 2411/1

The Fiat 2411/1 Cansa is a model of trolleybus built in Italy in the early 1960s, succeeding the better-known Fiat 2411 Cansa. It is an 11 metre trolleybus with right-hand drive and two folding doors, one at the rear with two leaves and one in the middle with three leaves. It was produced by Fiat Veicoli Industriali in the classic two-green livery, bodied by Cansa of Novara and equipped with CGE or TIBB electrical equipment. In later years the body took on a great variety of colours depending on the owning company. The Fiat Cansa 2411/1 was one of the last models built in Italy before the production crisis that lasted from the mid 1960s until the end of the 1970s. Its spread among Italian transport companies depended only on the transfers of the vehicles still working that originally belonged to SAER of Verona as the trolleybus lines were dismantled; examples went on to Salerno, Bergamo, Bologna and Sanremo.
