Hyundai Elec City Double Decker

The Hyundai Elec City Double Decker, also called the Elec City Doubledecker, is a two storey electric bus that Hyundai Motor built from its low floor Elec City, and the first double decker bus in South Korea. It was first released in 2021. Unlike the ordinary Elec City, which is a low floor bus also sold in a standing type, it comes only in a seated specification. It is used mostly as an express bus and a direct seated express bus. The lower deck has a standing space for wheelchair users and the remaining seats are all in a two by two arrangement. Like the Elec City it runs on electricity. Most are operated in the Seoul metropolitan area, and outside it the city of Daejeon owns some.
