The Leyland Titan is a British double decker bus produced from 1978 to 1984, developed for London Transport as a rear engined replacement for the earlier open platform Routemaster with a modern, driver only operated layout. It became one of the standard double decker buses on London streets through the 1980s and 1990s before later retirement.

Introduction
The Leyland Titan was a forward-control chassis with a front-mounted engine designed to carry double-decker bus bodywork. It was built mainly for the United Kingdom market between 1927 and 1942, and between 1945 and 1969.
