The Albion Venturer was Albion's first double-decker bus chassis, introduced in 1932 and built until 1939 with seating for 51 and later 55 passengers. A three-axle version called the Valorous was made in 1932, but only one was produced. In 1937 the Venturer CX arrived with the engine and gearbox mounted together rather than joined by a separate drive shaft, and it remained in production until 1951. The Venturer was one of the V-named passenger models of Albion Motors of Scotstoun in Glasgow, and the last Albion double-decker was the Lowlander of 1961.
