The Albion Valorous was a three-axle version of the Albion Venturer, the first double-decker bus from Albion Motors of Scotstoun, Glasgow. The Venturer arrived in 1932 with up to 51 seats, and the Valorous was made in that same year. Only one was produced, so it is a one-off rather than a production model, and it stands as the three-axle experiment within Albion's first double-deck range. Albion gave almost all of its buses names beginning with V, among them Victor, Valiant, Viking, Valkyrie and Venturer, and the Valorous follows that naming habit. The ordinary two-axle Venturer went on to be built until 1939, with 51 and later 55 seats.
