Mercedes-Benz OH 1518

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Mercedes-Benz XBC OH 1518 PA, better known as the OH 1518, is a high-floor rear-engine bus chassis launched in 2007. It is fitted with the OM 904 LA engine with electronic fuel injection control, which the article says gives excellent performance in operation, reduces routine maintenance and increases the durability of the engine and its components. The engine is a four-stroke diesel with four vertical inline cylinders, turbocharged and intercooled, of 4,249 cubic centimetres meeting Euro III, giving a maximum of 130 kW (177 CV) at 2,200 rpm and 675 Nm. A six-speed manual MB G 60 gearbox is fitted and the fuel tank holds 300 litres.
