The Mercedes-Benz OF 1114 is a front-engine bus chassis that was not sold in its country of origin and was aimed only at export, especially to neighbouring countries and Peru. In Peru it was, and still is, very popular as urban transport in the big cities, sold there with El Detalle bodywork. It carried the proven and reliable OM 352 engine of the Mercedes-Benz LO 1114, a four-stroke direct-injection inline six-cylinder diesel of 5,675 cubic centimetres rated 140 HP SAE. The Spanish Wikipedia article gives a wheelbase of 4,570 mm, an overall length of 9,220 mm and a width of 2,298 mm.
