Bristol C65

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Bristol C65 was one of the early C-series chassis of the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Company, whose numbers the English Wikipedia article on Bristol Commercial Vehicles says were replaced after 1920 by names based on body capacity. The Bristol CV Buses website describes the C65 on one page with the C40, C45, C50 and C60, a group built between 1908 and 1924, with bus bodies, coach bodies by Bristol and Sankey and a Bristol AW 30 hp four cylinder petrol engine, and counts 127 chassis for the whole group. Deliveries went mainly to Bristol Tramways itself, with nine to the War Department and one to Imperial. No separate figure for the C65 is stated.
