AEC Sabre

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The AEC Sabre was a bus chassis made by the Associated Equipment Company and launched in 1968. It was aimed at the touring and export markets and was not a commercial success, with only four examples sold. It holds a place in the firm's history as the last product introduced under the AEC badge. Its infobox lists an AEC 800 engine. The source available gives little more than this, so the entry stays short rather than guessing at its specification, its operators or the bodies fitted to the four chassis that were sold.
