The Renault PR180 and PR180.2 was a step-entrance articulated bus chassis produced by Renault Véhicules Industriels in Lyon, France. It was based on the popular PR100 rigid bus and shared many components with it, but it was designed around an unusual layout: most articulated buses drive through a single axle, while the PR180 drove through both its centre and rear axles. It was once a common sight in many French cities. In Australia, ACTION bought 34 PR180.2 buses between 1987 and 1993, badged as Macks and bodied by Ansair, and Transperth bought 65 between 1988 and 1989, badged as Renaults and bodied by JW Bolton. Heuliez Bus and Renault also developed a bi-articulated version in the 1980s, the Heuliez GX 237 or Mégabus, of which ten were bought by CGFTE and used in Bordeaux until the tram network opened in 2004.
