Mercedes-Benz O 405 GN2

The Mercedes-Benz O405GN2 is an articulated city bus produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1994 to 2001. It follows the O405GN of 1992 to 1994; the main difference is larger side windows in the first section, as between the single-body O405N2 and the O405N, together with richer interior equipment such as door-closing photocells and air conditioning. A natural-gas version, the O405GN2 CNG, was also built. Production ended in 2001 at the Mannheim plant, later part of EvoBus, the bus division of the group, and the Citaro is its successor. In Poland the buses ran in Gdańsk (26), Gdynia (4) and Łódź (5), and used examples imported from Germany in Jaworzno.
