Automotive Engines

The Nissan PR is a gasoline inline-four piston engine of 2.5 L displacement that Nissan introduced in 2018. It has an aluminium block and head and a double overhead camshaft, four-valve design with variable valve timing and direct injection. It is heavily based on the QR engine but has 95 percent different parts. The engine is used in compact and midsize applications by Nissan and Mitsubishi through the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, including the Altima from 2019, the Rogue from 2021 and the X-Trail from 2021.
