The Nissan P is a large overhead valve inline-six engine manufactured by Nissan from 1959 to 2003 and used in light-duty trucks and in the Nissan Patrol. It replaced Nissan's older sidevalve engines, with which it shared its dimensions, and the family was based on the pre-war Type A engine, a licence-built Graham-Paige design. Patrol applications the article lists include the 4W66 from 1959 to 1960, the 60 series from 1960 to 1980 and the 160 series from 1980 to 2003.
