The Nissan G series was a pushrod engine produced in the 1960s and used in the Fairlady and Sports 1500 roadster, the Cedric and the Junior. It evolved into the Datsun 1600's R engine, also known as the H16. Prince, before its merger with Nissan, made a separate G series of engines, which are unrelated and are documented on the Prince G engine page. Applications the article lists include the 1960 Cedric 30, the 1962 Cedric 31, the 1962 Datsun Fairlady SP310 in one and two barrel versions, and a Silvia CSP311 prototype from 1964 to 1968.
