The Nissan CG is a range of 1.0 to 1.35 litre straight-four piston engines from Nissan's Aichi Kikai division, an aluminium double overhead camshaft 16-valve design with multi-point fuel injection on every version. The engine was developed for the Nissan Micra, called the March in Japan, K11 series, and the 1.0 L CG10DE was built from the Micra K11's introduction in January 1992 until the K12 replaced it in 2002. The Nissan Cube Z10 x-alpha was another application, and the motor was also used in many Nissan forklift models. In the engine code CG stands for Clean Green and the digits give the displacement.
