The Nissan BD is an automotive diesel engine produced by Nissan Diesel, specified as a four-cylinder, direct fuel injection, water-cooled, naturally aspirated engine. The BD25 displaces 2.5 L and makes 82 PS at 4,300 rpm and is applied to the Nissan D21 pickup and the Nissan Atlas; in the Philippines it is mounted in pickup trucks such as the Ultra Power and the Eagle series. The 3.0 L BD30 makes 100 PS and was fitted to the Nissan Atlas H40 and H41 in 1995 only and to the BMC Levend in Turkey from 1990 to 2009, while the turbocharged BD30TI went into the Nissan Cabstar F23, the ECO-T Atleon and the Atleon in Spain.
