The Honda JNC1 is a bespoke 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine that Honda designed and produces for the second generation Honda NSX (NC1). It is built at Honda's Anna Engine Plant in Anna, Ohio, and takes around five hours to complete. Its 75 degree cylinder angle keeps the engine below the level of the rear tires, which lowers the center of gravity; Cosworth sandcast the block and cylinder heads, and the pistons are cast aluminium. The engine is mated to a nine-speed dual clutch transmission and works with three electric motors, a twin motor unit at the front wheels that provides torque vectoring and a single motor at the rear.
