The Honda E0 engine is the E0 series, a family of small three-cylinder gasoline engines developed and manufactured by Honda, with a total displacement of 656 cc and intended for kei car applications; the earlier E05A displaced 547 cc. It is based on the Honda EH two-cylinder SOHC engine and, like the Honda D engine, rotates anti-clockwise from the timing belt side. The engine uses SOHC 12-valve cross-flow heads with a die-cast aluminium cylinder block, valve covers and oil pan. The E07A was offered with a carburettor (PGM-CARB), with fuel injection (PGM-FI) and as the MTREC version, which fits individual throttle bodies to each cylinder and produced 47 kW in the Honda Beat. The E05A and E07A were partially replaced by the Honda P engine, but as of 2020 the E07Z still saw use in the Acty truck.
