The Ilmor NT1 is a naturally aspirated V8 racing engine developed and produced by Ilmor for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, which adopted it in 2018 and now uses it as the spec engine for every team. The article's lead gives a capacity of 5.87 litres while its specification lists 6.49 litres (396 cubic inches), so the two are reported as the article gives them. The specification also lists a power rating of 650 to 700 horsepower depending on the rules package, a 10,500 rpm limit, dry-sump lubrication, a solid-roller camshaft, two titanium valves per cylinder, Holley and Bosch port fuel injection, a compacted graphite iron block with an aluminum head, and an engine service life of 1,500 miles. The fuel is E15 ethanol supplied by Sunoco.
