Honda built a number of naturally aspirated V12 engines for Formula One racing, starting with the 1.5 litre RA271E in 1964 and ending with the 3.0 litre RA273E in 1968. After a hiatus of 21 years Honda brought back a new 3.5 litre V12, the RA121E, in 1991, and it became the last V12 engine to win a Formula One World Championship. Honda's last V12, the RA122E/B, raced in 1992. The engines powered the Honda RA271, RA272, RA273, RA300 and RA301 cars, two McLaren cars, the MP4/6 and MP4/7A, and the RC-F1 prototypes that never raced. Their Grand Prix record is one Constructors' Championship, one Drivers' Championship, 15 race wins, 12 pole positions and 35 podium finishes.
