The Fiat S74 was a Fiat racing automobile made in 1911 and first raced in 1912. It comes from the period when Fiat entered large-engined cars in major races to advertise the reliability of its brand, and the source describes it as a 180 horsepower racer with a four-cylinder engine of about fourteen litres. At the 1912 French Grand Prix, S74 cars were driven by David Bruce-Brown and Ralph DePalma, both of whom were disqualified for refuelling or repairs outside the pits, while Louis Wagner finished second in an S74 behind the winning Peugeot of Georges Boillot. At least one surviving example is privately owned in Oregon in the United States and is raced at historic events such as the Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca and the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Great Britain.
