The Fiat 18-24 HP is a medium-class car that Fiat built at the beginning of 1908. Fiat's range then consisted mainly of high-end and luxury cars, and this model was launched to complete it and to replace the old 16-20 HP, which dated back to 1903. It had a four cylinder engine of 4500 cubic centimetres, magneto ignition and a four speed gearbox, and its top speed was between 60 and 70 kilometres an hour depending on the version. To suit every demand it was offered in three versions, normal, lengthened and extra lengthened. Always at the forefront technically, Fiat equipped the model, for a modest extra charge, with compressed air starting in place of a hand crank. It was assembled in Turin and about 430 were made.
