Toyota Camry Solara (first generation, XV20) model years

The model year pages of the Toyota Camry Solara (first generation, XV20), 1999 to 2003. Each page covers one model year of this generation and links to the year before and after it, to the generation page and to the Toyota Camry Solara model page, so the whole run can be followed one year at a time. Body styles are properties of the pages and not separate groups. In brief: A distinct successor to the Camry Coupe went into development in the mid 1990s, resulting from a winning design entry in 1995 by Warren Crain of Calty Design and Research, and the first generation Camry Solara went on sale in the third quarter of 1998 as a 1999 model.
