The Suzuki Brezza, called the Vitara Brezza in its first generation, is a subcompact SUV from Suzuki that Maruti Suzuki builds in India. It was the first Suzuki branded car developed fully in India, designed as a smaller alternative to the global Vitara for young buyers, and it is sold only in right hand drive markets in Asia and Africa. The first generation was unveiled at the 13th Auto Expo in February 2016, previewed by the XA Alpha concept of 2012, with a 1.3 litre turbo diesel engine and later a 1.5 litre petrol engine with a mild hybrid system. Toyota sold the facelifted car as the Urban Cruiser from 2020 to 2022. The second generation was unveiled on 30 June 2022 without the Vitara name and uses the K15C Dualjet petrol engine. It was named Indian Car of the Year in 2017.
