Hyundai Lafesta

The Hyundai Lafesta is a compact sedan that Hyundai manufactured through its Beijing Hyundai joint venture in China from 2018 to 2025, sitting between the Elantra and the Sonata in the Chinese line-up. It was first revealed at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show and launched in October 2018 at prices from 119,800 to 145,800 yuan. Three turbocharged engine options appeared across the model years, a 1.4 litre of 140 PS, a 1.5 litre of 200 PS and a 1.6 litre of 190 or 204 PS. A battery-electric version, the Lafesta Electric, was announced for China from December 2019 with a 135 kW electric motor, a 490 km NEDC range and a top speed of 165 km/h, and it has a longer, more streamlined nose than the combustion car.
