Hyundai Grandeur

Automobiles

The Hyundai Grandeur is an executive and full-size car that the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai has built and marketed since 1986, over seven generations. It is the flagship mainstream sedan of the company, placed below the more premium Dynasty of 1996 and the luxury Equus of 1999, and it was also sold as the Azera in North America and the Middle East until the Azera was dropped from North America in 2017, overshadowed by the Genesis G80. The first Grandeur was a rebadged Mitsubishi Debonair produced by Hyundai, launched in July 1986 ahead of the 1988 Seoul Olympics with Mitsubishi-sourced engines, and it succeeded the locally built Ford Granada as Hyundai executive car.
