The Genesis G90 is the full-size flagship sedan of Genesis, the luxury division of Hyundai Motor Company, and the successor of the Hyundai Equus. The first generation, developed from 2012 under the project name HI by about 1,200 researchers, debuted in South Korea on 9 December 2015 as the Genesis EQ900 and reached North America in 2016 as a 2017 model. Genesis restyled it in November 2018 and renamed the EQ900 as the G90 for the Korean market, and a long-wheelbase G90L was offered alongside. The second generation, internally RS4, followed in 2021 with a 3.5 litre twin-turbo V6, a long-wheelbase version 190 millimetres longer with a 48 volt electric supercharger, and a Bang and Olufsen 23-speaker sound system.
